Gaming Legend Kevin Tom's AGW Presentation
At our June Game Developers' Meetup our guest speaker was Kevin Toms: creator of the original Football Manager game; responsible for an entire genre of computer game; seller of over 2m game units; former Founder, Chairman and Managing Director of Addictive Games.
A copy of Kevin's presentation is now up on his blog. It's just the slides so you'll miss some of the humour, Kevin's good nature and you won't be able to tell how tall he is (very).
It was a really good lecture, it'd be great if there was a version with audio up. Think it's possible for us to record future AGW meetings?
I recently had a German "Couch surfer" staying with us and I noticed he was playing EA's Football Manager 09 on his laptop (Which is apparently very popular over there) so I showed him Kevin's blog and the emulated original. We ended up playing his speccy version together for half an hour, it was great fun.
